The business was founded in 2014 as Pawnshop Heidedal by Andries Britz, Johan Grassmann and Jacques du Preez.
After Andries passed away, his brother Willie Britz inherited the business and developed it into today’s Legacy Pawn Shop & Hardware—a local store offering hardware, second-hand bargains and pawn services under one roof.
